New Mexico GAP Field Database

Photo Download

The New Mexico GAP Field Database has 10,273 photos associated with it. The photos are divided by from the 20 mapzones in New Mexico's portion of the Southwest GAP Region. Each zipped file contains all the photos from that mapping zone and a readme file explaining the contents of the file. All photos were resized to either 640x480 or 480x640 for viewing within the database. Several photos were also rotated 90 degrees left or right to place photo upright.

Download Instructions:

1.  Download the zipped file(s) from list above.

2.  Save the file to your computer and unzip its contents.  The photo directory (Photos) must reside in the same folder on your hard drive as the .mdb file.

3.  The file directory should look something like this: Click here for a graphic display.

NMGap_Database/NMGap_Database.mdb
NMGap_Database/Photos/NM1_photos/CBOL
NMGap_Database/Photos/NM2_photos/CHCN
NMGap_Database/Photos/NM3_photos/CHMT
etc...

4.  Open the NMGap_Database.mdb file in Microsoft Access and click the "camera" button to view the photos taken at a site.
